Erode Obstetric and Gynecological society was initiated in 1982 by the strong untiring efforts of Dr Rajalakshmi . The society was started with just a hand few members and the initial days are a night mare even to think back. But the unquenched thirst for knowledge updates made the initial founder members struggle their way forwards and There We Are .,with all kinds of luxury today . EOGS has found its unique place in FOGSI with more than 200 members . Heartily we salute the initial founder member’s stupendous efforts and we render our sincere gratitude . Our society is equipped with all kinds of superspeciality qualified consultants in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology like Reproductive Medicine , Fetal Medicine , High risk Obstetrics and Gyne Oncology.
The Academic sessions are so designed that every speciality field of OG is touched upon and the clinical updates are brought to our members door step. EOGS initiated community activities are conducted regularly for the welfare of the society. Our monthly gatherings are not just to sharpen our clinical acumen but to keep our team spirits high , to make us feel undivided and amalgamated, and we march together towards the upliftment of women’s health.
